Restoration and Preservation
of TUGGER WINCH LONG TERM PRESERVATION AT WAREHOUSE
The Tugger Winch – Wire Rope was rusted condition. In
order to restore the clean rope surface and to preserve the same for a period
over one year, DevaPS was requested.
Our Engineer and Technicians successfully carried out
the same, as shown in the photos, using the DevaPS restoration and preservation
solutions as follows:
Before Preservation
Wire Rope Degrease using Dev VCI OD 53.
Remove the rust using Dev Rust Remover.
Neutralize the surfaces using Dev VCI W- Shield+.
Apply Internal preservative - DEV VCI Oil Guard+ - for Tugger winch
gear.
Apply Dev VCI OShield 87 for the entire wire rope surface.
After drying, apply Dev VCI OShield 80 for the entire bare material
surface.
After drying, using our DEV VCI Stretch / DEV VCI Shrink film to cover
the entire Tugger Winch.
Now, the tugger winch is in pristine condition and
will be so for years until it is used.
